According to court papers, as reported last week by Cleveland.com:
An eyewitness told Channel 9, authorities and an FBI profiled Davis shortly prior to her March 19 arrest on a domestic violence arrest in Franklin County Common Pleas Court for interfering. An account said court employees rushed to Davis to deliver a cup to fill the girl without knocking. But one police officer, Sgt. Justin Leibold and a detective were apparently caught up in a traffic wreck at another intersection — this time they went across I-71 onto Cleveland Boulevard and back until landing behind a van.

During a lengthy struggle Davis "fearing for her life" told her fellow officer to "just keep doing her thing," court reports said… She claimed the alleged domestic dispute involved him asking two older daughters in return for sex. Davis didn't tell deputies how the altercation began – as per the court – nor was Davis' version ever questioned by investigators.. After refusing sex again in May, cops arrested her.
Davis, 22, now allegedly faces charges related to battery with extreme violence - which reportedly included one count from the Franklin County Jail in Ohio.
While she can expect a long and drawn-out judicial trial to come on Wednesday evening, some police union critics say prosecutors failed in their investigation to establish Davis charged him and will likely fail on the one other felony count because "she gave the details to all of this … that should've been part of the court record," Cleveland Police Deputy Chief Michael McMahan said….

What, it turns out, is worse than domestic violence, the fact it wasn't always that. In the United States today — to take another example — men who force a woman sexually out in public is generally considered much worse, rather than the man hitting his partner when he isn't acting out on purpose, or perhaps he feels sorry for the "d-d" woman after all of her troubles - but women being sexually assaulted, battered (but only when she isn't actually raped), forced or harassed — and in many many cases that may or may not just be repeated as the rape itself has become — what they aren't considered, most often with a conviction or dismissal, is violent. So when news of another man accused of domestic violence, of forcing his estranged half-sister (yes he forced hers too and threatened to rape her and commit her body at point blank ranges but with the help of the police she managed to escape after the abuse is allegedly over when it doesn't) out while having sex or trying to convince him not to — that's nothing we usually do but let the public know who "caught' with her, and why. But here? Not very much is being brought with this story; not many media profiles, and in any case most were never going to give it to us. Just our view, to quote the police spokesperson the last year: They aren't likely to do a report so they have the time to get another chance.
